What is the tax break?
The Tax Break for All Canadians Act provides a temporary GST/HST break on certain items from December 14, 2024, to February 15, 2025.
Which items are eligible for the tax break?
At E.B.S. Bookstore, the tax break applies to all books and educational flash cards.
It does not apply to decorative sticker books or origami paper.
Will the tax break apply to both in-store and online purchases?
Yes, the tax break will apply to both in-store and online purchases of eligible items during the eligible period.
How will the tax break be applied?
The tax break will be automatically applied at checkout when purchasing eligible items, whether you're shopping online or in-store. No additional action is required on your part.
Can I get the tax break on purchases made before December 14?
Unfortunately, the tax break cannot be applied to purchases made before December 14, 2024. Only items bought during the eligible period will qualify.
